Equipment Engineer

Overview

Responsible for company process equipment full cycle management, handling asset and calibration management.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and train staff on new manufacturing equipment, including creating working instructions and procedure.
• Lead technicians to troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment related problems including modification if required to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective maintenance programme for manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance and availability of parts are effectively carried out to minimize equipment downtime and production disruptions. Establish essential spare parts inventory.
• Participate in the verification and review of new equipment, get involved to equipment selection.
• Initiate continuous improvement to enhance equipment/tester productivity and reduce maintenance cost.
