Equities Advisory Lead

Qualification:

MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications.

Experience:

6–8 years of experience in equity research/advisory with exposure to HNI/UHNI client management.

Prior leadership experience in PCG/Wealth Management/Direct Equity Advisory is strongly preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Equity Research & Advisory

• Lead the Direct Equities desk, overseeing idea generation, sectoral/thematic research, and stock recommendations tailored to PCG clients.
• Develop and monitor model portfolios, investment strategies, and tactical calls for HNI/UHNI clients.
• Ensure research coverage is client-centric, differentiated, and actionable.
• Guide research analysts in producing high-quality reports and market insights.

Client Portfolio Strategy

• Provide direct equities portfolio advisory to relationship managers and clients.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and performance assessments.
• Identify market opportunities across large-cap, mid-cap, and emerging sectors aligned to client objectives and risk profiles.
• Drive adoption of long-term equity investing discipline while balancing tactical opportunities.

Business Growth & P&L Ownership

• Portfolio Manager - Direct Equities PCG will be responsible for the profitability of the business unit, ensuring sustainable growth in AUM and revenues.
• Work closely with PCG Relationship Managers, Sales, and Product teams to expand client penetration in direct equities.
• Monitor and optimize equity advisory revenues (brokerage, advisory fees, PMS/structured equity solutions, etc.)

Team Leadership

• Lead a team of equity strategists, research analysts, and product specialists.
• Provide training and mentoring to Relationship Managers to strengthen direct equity advisory capabilities.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on client outcomes and research excellence.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with SEBI and other regulatory guidelines on research, advisory, and client communications.
• Establish robust risk management frameworks for stock selection and portfolio recommendations.
