Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth equity research with a strong understanding of capital markets, economic trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Analyze financial statements, company fundamentals, and business models to assess growth potential and risks.
  • Research and track Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, equities, derivatives, bonds, and other investment instruments.
  • Build and maintain forecasts for listed companies and  valuations.
  • Prepare detailed equity research reports, investment notes, and market updates.
  • Monitor market movements, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory developments impacting investments.
  • Support portfolio construction, review, and rebalancing through research-backed insights.
  • Present research findings and investment recommendations to internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate research documentation, data sheets, and MIS reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and relationship teams to support client-focused solutions.

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills.
  • Sound understanding of equity markets, investments, and financial instruments.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Ability to create and interpret financial models and valuation frameworks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and MS Office tools.
  • High attention to detail with a disciplined and research-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in Equity Research, Financial Analysis, or related roles.
  • Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • CFA (pursuing or completed), NISM certifications (XV), or CA Articleship will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of  key industry sectors is preferred.
