Job Description
- Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and schedules related to the walking beam or strip processing lines furnace installation.
- Developing an erection plan and sequence
- Overseeing the assembly and erection of the walking beam furnace or strip processing lines furnace components, ensuring they are installed correctly
- Managing subcontractors and erection crews involved in the installation process
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicating progress updates and addressing any deviations from the erection plan.
- Implementing and enforcing safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the erection process.
- Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials used during the erection process.
- Overseeing the commissioning of the walking beam furnace, including functional testing and initial startup procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of installation activities, including progress reports, inspection records, test results, and any modifications made during the erection process.
