Mission

Within the ESG Investment & Research team, we are looking for an intern to join from January 2026 to contribute to innovative projects combining ESG expertise, data science, and AI.


Responsabilité

His/Her tasks will be as follows:

  • Enhancement of Candriam’s proprietary ESG Sovereign model using AI tools
  • Finalization of a text classification AI tool to score business activities integrated within Candriam’s proprietary ESG Corporate model
  • Testing of external AI solutions
  • Classification of ESG news flows
  • Automation of production tasks such as Best-Tracking-Portfolio, Business Activities model, and other projects linked to Azure
  • Support other team projects

    • Profil

    - Preparing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, or a related field
    - Analytical and synthetical mind, proactive
    - Good knowledge of programming languages: Python / SQL; familiarity with ML libraries
    - Knowledge/experience with AI, in particular LLMs, text classification
    - Data science fundamentals: statistics, machine learning, data mining
    - Knowledge of Azure Synapse and PowerBI are a plus
    - Understanding of financial markets and interest in ESG topics
    - Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
