ESL Instructor - Long Term Occasional - 0.93 FTE

Job Summary

: Under the supervision of the Manager of Literacy & Language Services, the Instructor provides instruction to small groups of adult learners with a specific program focus (i.e. ESL, LBS, LINC) in accordance with respective and established assessment standards. The instructor consults with the Manager of Literacy & Language Services to deliver program assignments and works collaboratively within a team environment to ensure that appropriate programming is delivered accordingly to applicable and designated Ministry and Board requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Possess a three year university degree or three year college diploma with a concentration in education, social work, sociology, psychology, linguistics or applied languages or in a related field.
