Estimation Manager

BM Plumbing is seeking an in-person Estimating Manager to oversee our bidding department. You will be responsible for managing the estimation process from plan review to contract award, ensuring accuracy in pricing and scope.

• Plan & Scope Review: Review all project plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure full understanding of project requirements.
• Takeoff Management: Oversee and approve all takeoffs to ensure strict accuracy before pricing is applied.
• Pricing & Costs: Determine the overall cost of projects, including labor, material, and overhead.
• Vendor Management: Obtain vendor quotes for equipment/fixtures and establish reliable pricing.
• Proposals: Generate and submit final proposals and bids to clients.
• Client Interaction: Attend customer meetings and work on Value Engineering (VE) options to save the client money.
• Contracts: Review contracts to ensure alignment with the proposed scope.
• Ensure all jobs are operating on budget
• Develop and implement best practices and company processes

Qualifications:

Experience in operations management, preferably Plumbing Construction, strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25, $33,000.00 per month
