Estimations Engineer – Aerospace

Analyze project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to determine scope and cost implications

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services

Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams to gather data and validate assumptions

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions and risks

Ensure all estimates incorporate AS9100 Rev D quality and traceability requirements

Maintain historical cost data and update estimation tools and databases

Support proposal development and provide cost breakdowns for client submissions

Review supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and completeness

Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions during estimation

Assist in post-project cost analysis and lessons learned documentation
