Job Description Job Description Estimator - Commercial Construction The role of the Project Estimator is to understand construction contracts and terminology while using estimating techniques and best practices to read schedules, and navigate project plans while showing creativity and resourcefulness. You will be responsible for obtaining pricing, reviewing bid requirements thoroughly, and asking follow-up questions on every bid. Communication and relationship development, especially with subcontractors is a vital part of this role.
