Our client, a leading construction company, is currently seeking an accomplished Estimator to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Prepare and implement an estimate plan for assigned projects according to the company’s procedures
2) Utilize the task list as a tool to implement an estimate plan
3) Review all problems of take-off conditions and document interpretation and provide an analysis to the Manager for direction
4) Perform the take-off with speed and accuracy in accordance with the company’s procedures
5) Develop and be responsible for initial subcontractor or equipment vendors’ contact as required
6) Prepare, coordinate and convey project-related instructions, information, questions, and clarifications between management and various vendor and subcontract groups
7) Notify the manager of irregularities in vendor and subcontract quotations and unusual labor situations
