Job Summary:

Estuate is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Tester to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL testing , SQL scripting , and Python-based data validation . You will work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and QA teams to ensure the quality and integrity of data across our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL testing to validate data pipelines, transformations, and data loading processes.

• Write complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target data mappings and ensure data accuracy.

• Develop Python scripts for data validation, automation, and test case execution.

• Create and execute test plans , test cases , and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

• Work closely with developers and data teams to understand data flows and identify testing needs.

• Perform data quality checks and ensure compliance with business rules.

• Log defects, track resolution, and conduct regression testing.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• 5–6 years of experience in Data/ETL Testing .

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.).

• Good programming knowledge in Python , especially for test automation or data manipulation.

• Experience in working with large datasets and understanding of data warehousing concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data lakes , cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an added advantage.
