Job Description
Role
- The Ethernet Network Engineer Architect is responsible for designing, evolving, and governing high-scale Ethernet fabrics for modern data centers supporting AI/ML, HPC, and large-scale cloud workloads. The role owns end-to-end architecture for multi-tenant Spine-Leaf (Clos) networks using EVPN-VXLAN, RoCEv2 design for lossless transport, and BGP-based routing for predictable convergence. This individual serves as the technical authority for platform evaluation (400G/800G), optical strategy, standards, documentation, and mentorship across global deployments.
Mandatory Skillset
- Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and MCLAG, including design patterns for scale and resiliency.
- Specialized skills in configuring PFC, ECN, and DCBX to support RoCEv2-based communication for GPU-to-GPU or GPU-to-Storage traffic.
