Ethics and Transparency Panel Member OPCC

Description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Mr Rupert Matthews, is looking to appoint members to his Ethics and Transparency Panel. The Panel is responsible for enhancing external and internal trust and confidence in the ethical governance and actions of Leicestershire Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.

The Panel will scrutinise the behaviour, actions and decisions of police officers and staff and will debate and advise on complex operational or personnel issues. Through its work, the Panel will provide assurance to the Commissioner that ethics and integrity have been embedded to the highest standards through the review of police processes and consideration of ethical dilemmas around emerging matters to influence local policy.
