Role: Lead QA Engineer – ETL & Data Warehouse Testing

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer – ETL & Data Warehouse Testing with strong expertise in AWS-based data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for leading QA strategy, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics systems.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
▪ Lead end-to-end ETL and Data Warehouse testing activities
▪ Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases
▪ Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
▪ Validate data ingestion, transformation, and aggregation processes
▪ Execute complex SQL queries to reconcile source and target data
▪ Develop and execute automated data validation using Python and Py Spark
▪ Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
▪ Track defects, manage test cycles, and report quality metrics using Jira
▪ Ensure compliance with data quality standards and best practices
▪ Mentor QA team members and provide technical leadership
Technical Proficiency:
▪ Strong experience in ETL & Data Warehouse Testing
▪ Solid understanding of Functional Testing methodologies
▪ Hands-on experience with AWS Services (mandatory)
▪ Advanced proficiency in SQL
▪ Python + Py Spark – Intermediate level
▪ Experience using Jira for defect tracking and test management
▪ Understanding of data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas)
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination
of education and experience
