ETL Developer

Location: Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warsaw (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: 180-210 PLN net/h



Tasks

Design, build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines

Develop and optimize PLSQL queries and database objects for high‑performance data storage in Oracle

Write Python‑based data engineering scripts to process data

Implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and workflow automation

Understand and work with database change management

Work with one or more major cloud vendors

Integrate and manage a modern data stack

Monitor, debug and optimize data workflows and infrastructure performance

Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with good practices

Requirements

10 years of experience

Proficiency in designing OLAP systems and using techniques such as STAR schema or denormalization

Strong Python and PLSQL skills

Experience with ELT/ETL development using GUI‑based tools (e.g., IBM Datastage, ADF, Stitch, Matillion)

Knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL and Snowflake databases

Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD, including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or Azure DevOps

Experience with test automation (Robot, Selenium) and understanding of different test scenarios

Strong familiarity with version control techniques (Git, GitHub, GitLab)

Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)

Knowledge of streaming and batch processing involving Kafka
