EU Projects Manager

Menlo Media is the media/events company behind EU-Startups.com. While our main focus is on EU-Startups.com (about 350k monthly readers) and on our annual EU-Startups Summit, we're also involved in EU-funded projects and tenders as dissemination partner, startup events organisers and startup ecosystem insiders. In order to represent EU-Startups (Menlo Media) in such projects and in order to grow this area inside Menlo Media, we're planning to hire a EU Projects Manager.

• As EU Projects Manager you\'ll work closely with our CEO and other team members.
• Be involved in the search for EU tenders and EU projects that could be a fit for EU-Startups (Menlo Media).
• Help establish future project consortia.
• Be involved in proposal writing efforts and ensure the successful execution of the projects we are involved in.
• Work full-time (40h per week); on-site in Barcelona 4 days per week and one day remote (optional).

• Fluent English (native speaker preferred).
• Good understanding of the startup ecosystem.
• Experience with EU-funded projects, proposal writing, public funding opportunities and/or public tenders.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to be based in Barcelona as stated in the role description.
