Roles and Responsibilities

  • Validation of the traction motor used in EV applications
  • Validation of inverter drives used in EV applications
  • Validation of motor control software and analysis of the commutation quality
  • Id,Iq characterisation, Space vector analysis and Motor noise analysis

    • Specific expertise required for functional area:

  • Exposure to component level / vehicle kevel validation on electric vehicles
  • Exposure to part level validation on machine invertors and batteries
  • Familiar with power inverters architecture
  • Familiar with electric vehicle standards and regulations including AIS, ISO functional safety amongst others.
  • Familiar with testing standards which govern reliability and durability testing
  • Basic knowledge on software architectures and algorithm validation, can communication etc
  • Knowledge in software tools like CANOE, Vehicle Spy etc will be appreciated.
