Overview
This is a paid seasonal part-time position starting in June. This position will work in the Community Relations and Development Office at New London Hospital.
Tentative hours may consist of: 15-20 hours per week. With the potential increase to 20-25 hours during event weeks.
Responsibilities
* In collaboration with the Development Program Coordinator, help with logistics of summer events.
* Assist with event coordination including pre-event promotion, preparation, outreach, implementation and post-event activities.
* Attend events and help with on-site execution and event management, inclusive of evenings and weekends.
* Assist with marketing to include social media, advertising and brand alignment.
* Maintain inventory for all event and promotional supplies.
* Assist with administrative duties including filing, data entry, scanning and photocopying.
* Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Reliable transportation.
* Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
* The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times.
* Evenings and weekends required on event dates.
* FTE/Hours per pay period:0.45 - 18 hrs/per week
