Event Coordinator

Summary
We are looking for a highly responsive and organized Event Coordinator to assist with the event fulfilment process for The Sidebar.
You will work with Sidebar leadership and session co-leaders to finalize event details, schedule events, set up event details on Luma, and ensure event information is properly edited and published.
This is a part-time freelance position with flexible hours hours per week). Immediate availability is required.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Sidebar leadership to prioritize and respond to client communications about sessions and scheduling.
• Communicate and coordinate with session co-leaders to select and confirm an event time.
• Create the event on Luma, using pre-written copy provided by the event originator.
• Edit and finalize event descriptions with co-leaders to ensure accuracy.
• Publish events and ensure they are properly formatted and are attributed the correct visibility (public/private).
