Job Summary

The Events Business Development Executive drives revenue growth for Iventom Group’s Events Division by identifying and pursuing business opportunities through government, semi-government, and corporate tender portals. The role involves managing tender submissions, developing competitive proposals, and building client relationships to expand the client base across key sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Register on and actively monitor key tender portals including government, semi-government, and corporate procurement systems
  • Conduct daily tender scanning and opportunity identification, evaluating fit based on scope, timeline, and company capacity
  • Lead proposal writing and tender submissions to support business development objectives
  • Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation to ensure all tender requirements are fulfilled
  • Execute post-bid follow-up activities to strengthen client relationships and improve future success rates
  • Track and report on key pipeline metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on proposal development and event delivery planning
  • Support the expansion of the client base across government, semi-government, and corporate sectors

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, tender management, or events industry
  • Proven track record of tender submissions and wins, preferably in Oman
  • Strong understanding of government and semi-government procurement processes
  • Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Valid Oman driving license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oman Tender Board and government procurement portals
  • Knowledge of events industry pricing and cost structures
  • Existing relationships with government or corporate procurement professionals
  • Project management certification or training
  • Experience in events production or corporate activations
