About the Business
A leading professional services firm with a strong global presence and a highly respected Perth office. While smaller and more close-knit than east coast locations, the Perth team plays a critical role servicing Western Australia’s resources, infrastructure and broader corporate market. Relationship-led engagement is central to how the business operates locally, with events, partnerships and memberships forming a key part of its market presence. The role sits within a national Marketing, Events and Relationship Marketing function, providing strong structure and support, while allowing genuine local autonomy.
About the Role
This is a relationship marketing and events role, not a traditional campaign or industry marketing position. The focus is on building and maintaining senior client relationships through high-quality events and experiences that strengthen brand presence in the Perth market.
You will own the relationship marketing and events program for Perth, operating within a national framework but tailoring activity to suit the local market. The role involves planning and delivering approximately six major events per year, alongside smaller partner-led events, executive roundtables and targeted engagements.
Working closely with senior leaders in the Perth office, you will support partner meetings through market communications, agendas and presentation materials, and build strong relationships with key local membership bodies and partners to secure speaking opportunities and visibility. You’ll also collaborate closely with national relationship marketing, events and partnerships teams to ensure alignment while maintaining local relevance.
Ideal Profile
You bring strong end-to-end events experience and thrive in relationship-led environments. You are comfortable operating autonomously, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and working in a smaller office where visibility and trust are important. You are a natural communicator and relationship builder, with strong local knowledge of the Perth corporate and venue landscape. You think commercially, enjoy designing thoughtful and high-quality experiences, and can connect market insights with event and relationship strategy. Experience in professional services, corporate events, membership-based organisations or charities is well regarded.
