We are looking for aDevOps Engineerto focus on ourplatformto help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deployingproduct updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Pythonor Scripting, and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining our AWS infrastructure with respect tosite creations and system administration such backups andmonitoring to ensure our application stays resilient.

Responsibilities:

•Manage/maintain our application infrastructure in AWS

•Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support

•Buildautomationtools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience

•Developautomation scriptsto integrate with internal back-end systems

•Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues

•Develop scripts toautomate visualization

•Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Skills and Experienceneeded for success in this role:

•Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role

•Experience with AWS

•Experience withKubernetes and Dockernice-to-have

•Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows

•Experience withAnsible orsimilar infrastructure management tool(s)

•Good knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting

•Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems

•Working knowledge of databases and SQL

•General understanding ofnetworkingconcepts (ie. Firewalls,VPN, SecurityGroups)

•Problem-solving attitude

•Collaborative team spirit

Where:

The EverCommerceteam is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role is based in Canada–if you’re close to oneof our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work remotely.You will be required to meet in an EverCommerce office from time to time. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America. There may be travel required to clients locations (less than 10%)

Compensation:The target base of compensation for this position is $125,000- $140,000CAD in most Canadian locations.Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
