    Job Role & Responsibilities

    Role: Design Engineer Closure Parts

  • Design and development of Closure Parts like Side Doors, Bonnet, Tailgate, Hinges, Latch etc.
  • Concept preparation with Master section, Parts modelling & detailing.
  • Co-ordination with other design teams related to mounting scheme of aggregate parts.
  • GD&T principles and applications.

    • Technical/ Functional:

  • Sheet metal Design & development.

    • Specific expertise required for functional area:

  • Experience in Closures parts design like Mechanisms, Hinges, Handles, locks etc and its functions.
  • Excellent designing & Master section skills,
  • Hands on experience in CAD modelling using any software like Catia /Pro-E/UG ….Unigraphics preferred.
  • Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system.
  • Understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Exposure to Plastic Product Design.
  • Exposure to DVP & DFMEA of BIW/Closure parts.
  • Good knowledge of basic BIW will added advantage ..
