Excavator Operator (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:

- Safely operate excavators to perform a variety of tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and loading materials.
- Use GPS machine control systems if required for precision grading or excavation.
- Follow site plans and blueprints to complete tasks according to specifications.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of the excavator, including checking fluids, tires/tracks, lights, and safety equipment.
- Report mechanical issues or damage promptly and ensure equipment is repaired as needed.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Requirements:

- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Excavators
- Experience operating excavators on construction, groundwork, or civil engineering projects.
