EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Roles at BHP Mt Arthur & Liddell Power station. GPS experience advantageous.

Join our team for an exciting opportunity as an Excavator Operator in Muswellbrook, NSW. We’ve got 4 positions between Mt Arthur Coal Mine and Liddell Power Station. For the roles at Mt Arthur, a Coal Board Medical and/or current BHP is preferred. GPS experience is preferred, but not essential for all roles.

What you’ll be doing

• Operate excavators to align with project specifications
• Use GPS or laser levels to confirm trench depth and alignment
• Excavate to the required design depth and maintain grade
• Backfill and tidy work areas after installation

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience operating excavators in Civil Construction
• Excavator ticket (RIIMPO320) is essential
• Experience using GPS systems is advantageous
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
