Our client is now recruiting for General Practitioners to join a brand new practice in Edmonton, Alberta!

An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the most highly sought after locations in Alberta, Canada. Edmonton is a thriving city with a rapidly growing population and offers a great lifestyle for GP`s keen to relocate to Alberta, which also has the highest billing codes in Canada. 

  • The practice has 6 Consulting rooms, and is based in a highly populated area close to schools and a mall.
  • There will be a varied patient demographic ranging from seniors to young families. 
  • A highly experienced Practice Manager has already been hired who will be able to manage many day to day operations and helping doctors to settle in
  • Opening hours of the practice are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, and 10am - 3pm Saturday and Sunday (any weekend work can be accommodated if required and negotiated)
  • No On Calls Required
  • Fully functioning Pharmacy on site

    • Benefits:

  • Attractive and competitive overheads, GP`s will keep 80% of all Billings
  • Earning potential between 480,000 - 700,000 CAD per year depending on workload and patients seen
  • Unique billing system will be in place to generate more income for doctors (details can be discussed during interviews)
  • Clinic covers all operational expenses (EMR Registration, supplies, equipment)
  • Clinic will also offer $5000 Dollars as an incentive / sign on bonus and 1 first month free from any overheads on billings 
  • Training given for the system to be used at the practice upon joining
  • Minimum initial contracts of 2 years with option to continue renewing indefinitely

    • Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to be licensed for General Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) 
  • MCCQE1 Exam must be completed to work in these positions 
  • Only GP`s / Family Medicine doctors who completed their training in either the UK (with CCT and MRCGP), Ireland (with MICGP), United States (with ABFM), Canada or Australasia (with FRACGP) can be considered
