Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Executive – Delegate Acquisition (Desk Sales) to drive subscriptions and delegate registrations for our print & digital magazines and industry events. The role involves tele-calling, lead follow-ups, database management, and closure of sales through phone and digital communication channels.

Responsibilities

Delegate & Subscription Sales

  • Sell paid delegate passes for conferences, summits, expos, and webinars organised by I-Tech Media
  • Promote and close print and online magazine subscriptions to professionals and organisations
  • Achieve monthly and event-wise sales targets


Lead Management & Tele-Sales

  • Make outbound calls to existing databases, leads, and event prospects
  • Explain event value propositions, speaker line-ups, agendas, and subscription benefits
  • Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and CRM


Customer Interaction & Follow-ups

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals
  • Regular follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed delegates/subscribers
  • Coordinate with internal teams for invoicing, confirmations, and onboarding


Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and conversions
  • Update CRM / Excel sheets on a daily basis
  • Share daily and weekly sales performance reports



Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • 1–2 years of experience in telemarketing, customer care, inside sales, or delegate sales
  • Exposure to B2B sales, media, events, exhibitions, or conferences is an advantage
  • Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered


Required Skills

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Confidence in tele-calling and desk-based sales
  • Ability to explain B2B products, events, and subscriptions clearly
  • Target-driven, result-oriented mindset
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and CRM tools
  • Comfortable speaking to CXOs, managers, engineers, and industry professionals


Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to B2B sales, media, events, exhibitions, or conferences is an advantage
