Roles and Responsibilities

The role is on Third Party payroll - Permanent Position
Job Purpose / Role Environment Lab Chemist
Performs chemical, and physical tests in support of the wastewater treatment plant; analyzes and records test results; and assists with a variety of special laboratory trials.
Supervision for Operation & Maintenance of Environmental facilities
Key Responsibilities:
Sample Collection for Water, Air, Stacks and work zone environment
preparation of chemical reagents
Perform Sample analyses tests using calorimetric and volumetric methods as per standard protocol
Maintain accurate and thorough records of laboratory procedures and results; ensure compliance with government regulations; prepare analytical work sheets and reports.
Develop new methods and techniques of analysis.
Timely upkeep and calibration of testing equipment
Develop and maintain control charts and daily work management
Keep Vigil of process parameters of pollution control facilities
Ensure smooth Functioning of the treatment facilities
Maintaining record water, waste water, hazardous waste, recyling plants etc.
Environment monitoring
Necessary preventive maintenance spares management
