Job Role: As Executive Housekeeper,you will take ownership of the entire housekeeping operation, ensuring thatguest rooms, suites, and public areas exceed the highest standards of comfort,cleanliness, and presentation. You will lead, inspire, and train your team,driving both efficiency and guest satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeepingstaff.
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping personnel, includingroom attendants, housekeeping supervisors, and support staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a motivated andwell-trained team.
  • QualityControl:
  • Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned andmaintained to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvementand implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies andequipment.
  • Schedulingand Budgeting:
  • Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget.
  • Create and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate coverageand efficient use of labor resources.
  • Guest Satisfaction:

  • Address guest complaints or concerns related to housekeepingpromptly and effectively.
  • Implement and maintain quality control programs to enhance guestsatisfaction.
  • Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities forhousekeeping staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructivefeedback.
  • Health and Safety:

  • Ensure that housekeeping staff follow all safety and sanitationpolicies and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to create asafe working environment.
  • Communication:
  • Foster effective communication within the housekeepingdepartment and with other hotel departments.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamlessoperations.

  • Proven housekeeping management experience, preferably in a 5-star luxuryhotel.
  • Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, BusinessAdministration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial housekeeping role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, housekeeping management systems, and databasetools.
  • Solid report-writing and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of a third language will be considered an asset.
  • Exceptional negotiation, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively underpressure.
