Manager- Liasoning
AREAS OF OWNERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Oversee all aspects of Liaison related activities of specific assignments in Zoning regulations, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Pollution control Board, KSFES, BWSSB, BESCOM and BMRDA ensuring adherence to prevailing guidelines, byelaws, regulations and compliances, efficient budget management and seamless coordination with architects, consultants and government officials.
- Approval process, planning and execution.
- Develop comprehensive plans for obtaining approvals for upcoming projects.
- Statutory compliance for ongoing and completed projects
- Ensure effective execution of liaison process in accordance with timelines and budget constraints.
- Oversee the file movements at the statutory Authority level for obtaining approvals in line with the company’s requirements.
- Periodical site visits to monitor adherence of statutory norms at site and submit compliance reports to the Government bodies.
DELIVERABLES
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from stipulated zonal norms and regulations.
- Corroborate with subject matter experts to uphold industry best practices.
Budget Management:
- Work within allocated budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Provide best-negotiated cost estimates to obtain approvals within optimal cost and timelines framework.
Vendor and Material management:
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with consultants to optimize project costs for Liaison.
- Coordinate to provide work orders to consultants for report generations with respect to compliances and adherence to mandatory conditions.
KPI's
Regulatory compliance:
- Stay informed about local state and national regulations related to Liaison.
- Ensure that all Liaison related activities adhere to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with domain experts to update procedures in response to changes in regulations.
Risk Management:
- Implement suitable measures to protect company’s interests and minimize timelines.
- Report any incidents/deviations promptly to the concerned Architects/ consultants/Engineers to facilitate corrective measures.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all Liaison related activities including project documentation and reports.
- Prepare regular progress reports for peer review and action.
Communication and Coordination:
- Foster effective communication with Architects, consultants, project teams and government officials.
- Collaborate with various departments and project teams to ensure seamless integration of Liaison process.
Training and Development:
- Stay updated on industry advancements and share relevant knowledge with site teams for strict adherence to norms and regulations.
