Executive - QA

Bizmatics, A leading EHR company provides clinical and business productivity software and services to medical practices & multi-specialties. Our cloud-based application, PrognoCIS is a fully-integrated solution comprising EHR, Telemedicine, Practice Management, Medical Billing, RCM, Patient Engagement tools, and more. Built on multi-tier Internet architecture, PrognoCIS EHR supports all major specialties and has fully customizable templates. The integrated architecture supports common databases for all Prognocis products to ensure seamless, real-time information flow between EHR and Billing. PrognoCIS is available both as an ASP service or an in-house Client-Server solution.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, this professional will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through comprehensive testing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to drive the success of our products.

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift Timings: 9:30AM to 6:30PM IST

Location: Mumbai, Nagpur

Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze software requirements and technical specifications.
• Participate in requirement and design review meetings.
• Develop and document application test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Create detailed test cases including clear expected results.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and stability.
• Identify, log, and track software defects through resolution using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Contribute to automation, API, security, and performance testing initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Manual Testing: Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Automation Testing:
  
  

Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Basic understanding of scripting in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• API Testing:
  
  

Working knowledge of tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and status codes.

• Security Testing (Basic Exposure):
  
  

Awareness of common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL Injection, XSS, Authentication/Authorization checks).

Exposure to tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite (Community Edition).

• Performance Testing (Basic Exposure):
  
  

Familiarity with tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6.

Understanding of load, stress, and scalability testing concepts.

• AI in QA (Preferred):
  
  

Awareness of AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Testim, or Mabl) for test case generation or defect prediction.

• Soft Skills:
  
  

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and collaboration abilities.

• Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD tools (like Jenkins or GitHub Actions) will be an added advantage.
