Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
- Service Operations
- Ensure punctual train services and make adjustments to meet customer needs.
- Report and address equipment faults, coordinating with relevant staff for quick recovery.
- Manage track access and work possessions according to rules and procedures during traffic and non-traffic hours.
- Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe environment for customers, staff, and contractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
- Enforce transit rules and report non-compliance.
- Procedures and Improvements
- Review, develop, and improve procedures, manuals, and local instructions.
- Provide feedback on train timetables and develop new ones when required.
- Staff Training and Mentoring
- Mentor and train new staff during on-the-job training at the Operations Control Centre.
