Job Description
Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the software asset inventory and license database. Assist in tracking software procurement, installation, renewals, and retirements. Monitor software usage to ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements. Support internal audits and prepare data for external software audits. Work with procurement and IT teams to process purchase requests for software. Generate reports on software usage, compliance, and renewal timelines. Help identify underutilized software to reduce unnecessary costs. Maintain proper documentation of license agreements, purchase orders, and renewals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field . 0–2 years of experience in IT Asset Management / Software Asset Management / IT Support (freshers with strong interest in SAM may apply). Basic knowledge of software licensing concepts (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle . Familiarity with Sharepoint, Excel, JIRA Good analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
