Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Executive – Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of web and mobile applications used in pharmaceutical operations. The role involves manual and automation testing, adherence to strong STLC practices, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases , and other QA documentation in alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications; execute automation testing where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) best practices, quality gates, and timely delivery of test activities.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web applications across multiple devices and environments.
• Test mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms, covering various screen sizes and OS versions.
• Perform smoke, sanity, functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing , including UAT support and defect validation.
• Execute scenario-based testing with a structured and analytical approach to identify functional and non-functional issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Log, track, and manage defects using defect-tracking tools and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure software quality aligns with pharmaceutical industry standards , data integrity requirements, and compliance expectations.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in:
• Functional testing and front-end/UI testing
• API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
• Database testing , including writing and executing SQL queries
• Smoke, sanity, regression, integration testing, and UAT support
• Experience testing web and mobile applications in complex environments.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools .
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology , or related discipline.
• Testing certification (ISTQB or equivalent) preferred.
