About the Role:

We are looking for an Expatriate Site Manager to join a major public civil engineering project in Stockholm. In this key role, you will provide critical on-site leadership and operational support to the Project Manager, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of high-profile infrastructure works.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct on-site support to the Project Manager in the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, coordinating resources and resolving on-site challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, safety regulations, and Swedish public sector requirements.
• Assist in planning, progress reporting, and maintaining site documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4-5 years of proven experience in site management, specifically within public civil engineering or infrastructure contracts.
• International project experience is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous but not essential.
