    The successful bookkeeper will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support payroll activities.
  • Assist in preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documents.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and workflows.
  • Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
