This role is ideal for someone who is confident working end-to-end, from messy source data and bookkeeping cleanup through month-end close and financial statement preparation, using both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

Client Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across industries.
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers, including transaction coding, class/location tracking, and documentation standards.
  • Perform bookkeeping cleanups and historical catch-up work as needed.

Reconciliations & Data Quality

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, payroll, and key balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Identify errors, missing transactions, and misclassifications; correct issues with clear audit trail support.
