Job Description
Location: Noida
Experience: 5–10 years in event design, spatial storytelling, or creative direction
Preferred Education: NIFT / NID / MIT-ID or equivalent design background
About the Role
We are seeking a Experiential & Spatial Designer who can define the creative soul of an event — from the seed idea to the complete visual and experiential narrative.
This person will conceptualise what the event stands for, feels like, and looks like, then work with 3 D artists and designers to translate that imagination into tangible visual environments.
The ideal candidate thinks in moods, materials, and metaphors, and uses both traditional design sensibilities and new-age AI tools to express concepts quickly, beautifully, and powerfully.
Key Responsibilities
Concept & Ideation
- Interpret briefs to develop strong, original event themes and experiential storylines.
- Build visual narratives and mood boards that define the tone, texture, and atmosphere of the event.
- Ideate on installations, stages, entry experiences, lounges, and thematic zones with a focus on spatial storytelling.
Creative Direction & Visualisation
- Lead the design direction and guide 3 D visualisers to translate ideas into renders and spatial walkthroughs.
- Work cross-functionally with production, content, and fabrication teams to ensure concept integrity.
- Use Gen-AI tools (like Midjourney, Runway, DALL·E, or similar) to rapidly generate creative references, mood visualisations, and design explorations.
Presentation & Articulation
- Craft high-impact concept decks and client presentations that narrate the creative journey.
- Present ideas visually and verbally with clarity, emotion, and confidence.
Leadership & Trend Awareness
- Mentor junior conceptualisers and visualisers, setting quality and creative benchmarks.
- Stay updated on trends in event design, digital installations, fashion, architecture, and AI-driven visual culture.
Who You Are
- A design thinker and storyteller with a strong sense of spatial and emotional aesthetics.
- Experienced in event design and creative visualization — able to imagine experiences before they exist.
- Comfortable integrating Gen-AI tools into the creative process for ideation, exploration, and presentation.
- Confident in communicating concepts and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva/ Power Point / Keynote.
- Familiarity with 3 D visualization workflows (Sketch Up / Blender / Cinema4 D / Unreal) – Optional.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Midjourney, Chat GPT, Runway, etc. for concept ideation and visualization.
- Strong grasp of composition, lighting, form, and material sensibility.
Preferred Background
- Degree in Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, Visual Communication, or Event Design from NIFT / NID / MIT-ID / Pearl Academy or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in event agencies, experience design studios, or multidisciplinary creative setups.
- A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual clarity, mood boards, and event visual storytelling.
Soft Skills
- Visionary and detail-driven, with the ability to think spatially and narratively.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Team-oriented with leadership instincts.
- Curious, adaptable, and always exploring new creative technologies.
