Experimental Process Machinist - MTC 1st Shift

·Sets up and operates all types of digitally driven manufacturing equipment including CNC multi-axis / multi-function machines, gear cutting, gear grind, surface grind machines and various other integrated systems.

·Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for development and tool work. Must be able grind steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads. Must be able to set up truing devices on thread grinding for various types and forms of threads.

·Set-ups and work must be held to extremely close tolerances

·Advises and assists Engineers in development of new processes to manufacture various metallic and/or composite dynamic components such as transmission and gearbox cases, covers, housings, power & accessory gears (including spiral bevel...
