• This includes designing specialist Python tools that support the build and publication process of open-source software on Ubuntu.


• You will work closely with a talented team to maintain tooling that builds snaps (Ubuntu packages), charms (system configurations) and rocks (OCI images).


• The ideal candidate has expertise in Python, a strong understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions, good grasp of build systems and cross-compilation techniques.


• A background in container technology like Docker is also highly valued as we utilize these technologies daily.
