Expert Software Engineer

Role: Geneva RSL/RDL Developer

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

Some of the things you will be doing:

· Ability to leverage accounting knowledge to write reports using Geneva report scripting language (RSL) / SSRS
· Work closely with fund accountants and other business contacts to understand requirements and implement accordingly
· Participate in development activities as part of an Report Development Team using available Reporting Technologies.
· Ensure all work products have been fully tested with various business scenarios as part of Unit Testing.
· Manage Report deliveries and requirement gathering within the reporting team, conducting Scrum meetings.
· Prepare and stage deliverables for production deployment
· Work independently on the end-to-end process of Geneva Upgrades.
· Migration of Reports using new technologies.
· Must have an understand fund accounting data
· Support Geneva application and AGA maintenance releases
· Possess excellent communication skills

Qualifications

· 8+ years experience on Geneva - understanding of the user features/functions of the application
· Strong accounting background and excellent understanding of accounting principles and policies
· Ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately
· Experience with SQL and relational databases
· Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
· Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies will be add-on
