Expert Systems Engineer

• Provide production support for the Linux/Unix infrastructure.
• 24X7 Operational support Linux/Unix environment.
• Linux administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Linux user management and file permissions.
• Responsible to create file systems, disk partitioning and troubleshooting.
• Server Deployment, commissioning and decommissioning.
• Liaise with vendors to analyze crash dumps, or infrastructure problems.
• Ensuring the quality, and stability of the Unix/Linux environment and supporting business managers in planning project.
• Address incidents picked up by the monitoring systems alerting on Unix & Linux infrastructure within a timely manner.

• Requires 7+ years of Linux experience.
• IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, etc.
• Hardening and patching for Unix/Linux servers
• Good to have - VMWare, SAN, Clinicals application knowledge, Allscripts application knowledge, LogicMonitor.
• Ability to work and deliver in complex environment.

•  Academic and professional qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and Azure)
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
