We are currently looking for an Export & Logistics Specialist for our Cologne office.  (Ideally with a background in export and logistics – for example as a  Speditionskaufmann, Exportsachbearbeiter, Export-Sachbearbeiter or Logistikkoordinator with strong export documentation and VAT experience).

What We’re Looking For

• C1/C2 or business fluent in German & English (both written and spoken). An additional EU language would be a plus (Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch), with Spanish or French being particularly advantageous.
• Hands on experience in export documentation for EU and/or non EU shipments (for example transfer of ownership, export declarations, MRN, IE599, preference documents).
• Solid understanding of EU B2B VAT for cross border car sales or a strong motivation to become an expert in this area.
• Confident working with freight forwarders and compounds.
• Vocational training or degree in forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience in start-up/scale-up environments a plus. 

What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage the daily export workflow for vehicles sold on our online B2B platform – ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient cross-border logistics.

This is not just a dispatch role - you will act as the export documentation and VAT expert, ensuring every vehicle handover is backed by a complete, accurate and audit ready evidence pack.

• Handle end-to-end export cases across EU and non-EU markets.
• Coordinate buyer collections with compounds and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and validate ownership transfer and deregistration documents per country specific rules.
• Complete export evidence packs for intra EU and non-EU exports (CMR/PoD, ICS or MRN/IE599, invoices, carrier and compound documentation).
• Prepare VAT-compliant documents for B2B net sales and support export declarations for non-EU shipments.
• Perform final quality checks on each export case before it is closed in Salesforce and ensure all documentation is audit ready.
• Resolve missing or incorrect documents with buyers, carriers, compounds, and service providers.
• Flag risks early, communicate clearly in German and English and support market rollout projects.
