Extruder Operator

Advantage Resourcing is seeking an Extruder Operator in Branford, CT, offering a pay range of $23-$24 per hour for the 3rd Shift: 6 pm - 6 am, Friday through Monday OR Saturday - Tuesday.

The Extruder Operator oversees the operation of a thermoplastic extruder and related production equipment to produce blown film for elastomeric plastic sheeting and tubing.

Responsibilities:

Determine product requirements and customer specifications

Start and set up extruder equipment, slitting stations, and winders based on product and customer requirements

Perform visual and mechanical inspections of film for non-conforming issues

Conduct die changeovers and clean dies and air rings

Record setup data accurately

Ensure the quality of film and raw materials meets standards

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
