Job Description: ETL Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with deep knowledge of SSIS, Azure cloud data platforms, and Guidewire ClaimCenter migration processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, and enabling seamless migration and integration across enterprise systems. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall experience must 5+ years.

  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages, data pipelines, and ETL workflows to support business and system integration requirements.

  • Lead and execute data migration initiatives, especially migrations involving Guidewire ClaimCenter, including mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Work with business analysts and domain teams to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable ETL solutions.

  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading strategies for complex datasets across on-prem and cloud platforms.

  • Develop and optimize Azure-based data solutions, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and related services.

  • Perform data profiling, quality checks, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated or transformed data.

  • Troubleshoot ETL performance issues, optimize workflows, and ensure best practices for scalability and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with architects and cloud engineering teams to ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Maintain documentation, version control, deployment scripts, and ETL operational procedures.

  • Stay updated with emerging Azure data engineering capabilities, ETL tools, and industry best practices.

  • Experience with JIRA, Git, and Agile methodologies is preferred.

  • Proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter data migration or integration projects.

  • Ability to lead development tasks, mentor junior team members, and deliver complex solutions with minimal supervision.
