The opportunity
We’re looking for incumbents who is responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work as per Project requirements for our FAAS team and possess good accounting knowledge under IFRS/US GAAP. The role requires prior experience and knowledge of period end close, financial reporting activities and bring subject matter expertise around Treasury processes to our advisory services.
Your key responsibilities
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of booksSupporting the development of tools and methodologies for project deliveryParticipating in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnelDeveloping creative, yet practical, solutions to help our clients achieve their treasury and business objectivesEnsure adherence and meeting the KPIs and SLAReceive direction from the Manager and Senior ManagerMaintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholdersVariance Reporting & Analytical ReviewBuild the necessary documents like SOPs and other end user training materialsUse the available guidance’s on USGAAP/IFRS for providing technical support, as and when requiredEnsure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing Supervisors of engagement statusFollow through on client requests in a timely fashion, and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reportsSupporting the development and management of the relationships with external and internal (EY) clientsParticipating in the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagementsSupporting development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategiesDemonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (, guidelines of the EY FAAS Policy Manual); and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situation Skills and attributes for success
Good understanding of IFRS / US GAAP, UK GAAPWorking experience in relation to the following services/solutions (at least three): Business unit /Entity level reporting
Record to report
Technical accounting research and advisory
Consolidation and compilation support
Financial statement close process support
Strong knowledge of Lease accounting Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologiesScope of working under different ERP packages like SAPCertified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is a plusExperience with a large global corporate treasury department and/or consulting experienceExperience with the following treasury areas: Treasury organizational structure
Financial risk management
Cash flow forecasting
Cash and liquidity management
Bank relationship management
Treasury technology Debt and investment management
Governance, controls and regulation
M&A support (, due diligence, integration, carve-outs)
Working capital management
Hedge accounting To qualify for the role, you must have
, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR) or Regular/Part time MBA from a reputed institute3-6 years relevant experience including experience in Entity/BU reporting, Financial statement close process support and MIS reporting Ideally, you’ll also have
SAP S4/Hana public or private cloud understandingProficiency in MS – Excel, MS – Office.Knowledge on any Data analytics/visualisation tools will be additional advantage.Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessaryGood communication, Interpersonal, Analytical Skills & highly proactive in approachPreferred tool experience SAP public cloud
