FAB Lab Assistant

Position: FABLAB Assistant at RIIDL

Company: RIIDL

Qualification: B.Tech/B.Sc in Electronics or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Robotics

Experience: 2 years experience in handling maker spaces, fabrication labs, 3D printing and/or laser cutting

Salary: Rs. 3.6 LPA – 4.20 LPA

Skills: Basic skillset in electronics, PCB design, mechanical engg. CAD modelling needed

Job Description:

Equipment & Maintenance

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot fabrication machines & perform preventive and periodic maintenance. Coordinate repairs, calibration, and performance optimization. Maintain and update SOPs every 6 months

Tools, Consumables & Procurement & Inventory Management

Maintain standard maintenance toolkit and inventory, of the lab.

Track R&M bills and support budgeting/procurement (PR/PO) & Manage consumables and spare parts.

Training & Workshops

Train RIIDL trainers and students. Conduct student workshops (annual) and school workshops (one-day).

Mentor Fab Academy, PBL, SSD, RDS and engineering students.

Startup Support

Provide technical help to startups. Assist in prototyping and product development for Preincubation.
