FACILITIES CONTRACT SPECIALIST (LEVEL I)

Job Summary

: Performs duties as Standard level Contracts Specialist under the guidance of one or more the Senior Contract Specialists in support of the planning development advertisement award administration and closeout of construction facilities and architect engineer contracts to meet NEXCOM requirements. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Contractual Authority Provides support in exercising delegated contractual authority operating within authorized limits to enter into contracts using non-appropriated funds in alignment with the NAFIs interests. 

 Solicitation Package Support Assists in the development and assembly of request for quotation RFQ and request for proposal RFP solicitation packages ensuring adherence to relevant policies and appropriate formatting for different contracting methods including sealed bid negotiated and simplified acquisitions.
