Facilities Coordinator - Temporary Contract

Assignment Details
Start: ASAP
Length: up to 6 weeks with possible extension
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Southern suburbs of Perth
Rate: Competitive casual hourly rate of $40-45 dependant on experience, paid weekly
About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Facilities Manager and the wider team with the delivery of facilities management services across Western Operations. This role is responsible for coordinating scheduled and reactive maintenance, managing contractors, supporting minor projects, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and facilities tasks

Engaging, onboarding, and managing contractors and service providers

Supporting preventative maintenance programs and asset management planning

Assisting with project coordination, minor works, and capital improvements

Maintaining records, documentation, budgets, and invoicin

Liaising with internal stakeholders and regional base support teams

Assisting with fleet servicing coordination and property compliance
- This role may require occasional support of after-hours facilities emergencies on a rostered basis
Skills and Experience Required
-
Previous experience in facilities coordination, property maintenance, or office administration
-
Experience managing contractors and service providers
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks

Confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Understanding of purchasing and invoicing processes

Exposure to property or facilities management environments (desirable)
-
Current driver's licence
-
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
A qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, or similar is desirable but not essential where relevant experience is demonstrated.
