Job Description

This position maintains the Providence Mount St. Vincent facility and supports Plant Operations policies and procedures. The position is responsible for maintaining the facility's mechanical and electrical equipment in good, safe, and working condition. This position responds to resident needs for equipment-related repairs.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Steam Engineer License Grade I - State County City Trade License Authority orUpon hire: National Steam Engineer License Grade II - State County City Trade License Authority orUpon hire: National Steam Engineer License Grade III - State County City Trade License Authority 
  • 3 years experience as one of the following: electrician, plumber, HVAC/R mechanic, or four year experience as a maintenance mechanic in building/facility maintenance with a working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pneumatics, refrigeration and building heating and venting systems. 
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Training in industrial maintenance; One year of school in industrial maintenance may substitute for one year of working experience.
  • 1 year Healthcare environment experience
